Great news! Any item purchased will be produced and ready for shipment within 7 working days.
A Higher Essentials staff member can ship your purchase Mon - Fri 8am to 5 pm local time.
DELIVERY SERVICE
All our international deliveries are handled by UPS, FedEx, DPD, TNT and are provided tracking numbers.
Reliability is key, which is why we use a signed-for delivery service. We’d hate for you to not receive your order. Please make sure that the shipping address is correct as we’re unable to redirect orders once they’re on their way to you.
To make the delivery experience as pleasant and easy as possible please make sure you are someone else is available to receive the parcel.
For both free and paid deliveries, you will need to make sure that you cover any ingoing customs or taxes costs should any be incurred when shipping to your destination. At Higher Essentials we do our best to deliver within the stated time, however we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the customs clearance of the destination country.
Please don’t refuse a delivery. Unfortunately, refused deliveries will incur a cost of the original delivery plus the return cost. Any refund made will be minus the total delivery and return cost in the case of refused deliveries.
We try our best to get deliveries out to you on time, but sometimes international deliveries can take longer than expected.
Please note, we do not take any responsibility for delivery to shipping companies or freight forwarders, this will be at your own risk.
RETURNS
All orders placed now can be returned within 28 days of being received. This applies to online order and purchases made in our store. Return addresses will be included in your order to make this process as hassle free as possible.
Our Bucharest store will also be accepting return of online purchases so you can drop your return in store if that fits best.
Sometimes the fit isn’t right, so we’re happy to accept returns on any garment that is unworn and still fitted with all security tags and labels. This applies to any item despatched to us within 28 days of receipt by you.
Please note that shipping costs are not covered by Higher Essentials when sent back, so we suggest using your local post office for the best service and tracking ID.
Our return instructions on the returns sheet enclosed with your delivery makes sending it back feel seamless. Make sure you mail your returns back to us within 28 days of receipt.

When filling out the sheet, please make sure you indicate if you would like a refund or an exchange.
Some items, such as final sale items or customised items, are not eligible for a return or refund, but don’t worry. We make sure our designs clearly state this for you.
Payments will be credited back to the original purchasers credit card. Returns for refund are processed within 5 working days of receiving the item. Please note SALE items are refunded via Gift Cards.
Card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary between banks, so please speak to your bank for any more info regarding processing times as we are unable to amend this.
We don't take any responsibility for lost parcels whilst being returned to us.
EXCHANGES
We’re happy to accept exchanges on any garment that is unworn and still fitted with all security ribbons and labels. This applies to any item despatched to us within 28 days of receipt by you.
Exchanges take around 7 working days to process, plus the delivery time to your area.
It’s important to note that shipping costs are not covered by Higher Essentials when sent back.

Feel free to be picky. You can exchange your item for any size or item (permitted it’s in stock or available to order) and we send them back to you at no extra charge. We offer an exchange for every item.
If you want to treat yourself even more and the replacement costs extra, we will ask that you purchase a gift card in the value of the difference and notify us when the payment has been made. Alternatively, you may find it easier to refund the original item and then purchase the new, higher-priced item.
If the replacement is less expensive than the original, don’t worry. We’ll make sure the difference is refunded back to you on a gift card that you may use for future purchases. Alternatively, you may refund the original item and then purchase the new, lower-priced item.
SALE ITEMS
We can only refund returned sale items by credit note for use on our online store.
Final Sale items are not returnable for exchange, refund or store credit.
Customised items are not returnable for exchange, refund or store credit.
LATE RETURNS
We’re unable to accept returns beyond the 28 days of your receipt and anything sent to us after 28 days may be returned to you.
CARRIERS TO RETURN
Use your local post office with a signed-for service and ask for a tracking number so you can follow your return.
